dj-play.it is an online platform that allows users to manage music requests digitally and use them at events. The application is aimed at professional event organizers and DJs and offers features for submitting requests, interacting with participants, and managing playlists.
3. General Information on Data Processing
The protection of your personal data is very important to us. We therefore process your data exclusively in accordance with applicable legal provisions (GDPR, BDSG).
This privacy policy informs you about the type, scope, and purpose of the collection and use of personal data on our platform dj-play.it.

- Email address
- Payment information (buyers only, not end users)

- Creating and managing user accounts

End users of the buyers (e.g. event participants or guests) can submit music requests anonymously. These interactions are not personally identifiable.
5. Registration and Login
Using the platform requires prior registration. During this process, name, email address, and a self-selected password are collected. These login credentials are used for user authentication and account management.

We use technically necessary cookies to ensure the functionality of our application. In addition, we use the following analytics and tracking services:
- Firebase Analytics: Anonymous collection of technical usage data to prevent errors and improve the application.
- Google Analytics (Google Ireland Ltd.): To analyze user behavior and optimize usability and functionality.
Google Analytics uses cookies to analyze how you use our website. The information generated is generally transferred to and stored on a Google server in the USA. However, your IP address is anonymized before transmission (IP anonymization is enabled).

- Spotify (Spotify AB / Spotify Inc., USA) – Music integration
- Apple iTunes (Apple Inc., USA) – Music content, possibly via API
- Google Analytics (Google Ireland Ltd. / Google LLC, USA) – Usage analytics
These providers are contractually bound in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR. Data transfers are based on appropriate safeguards under Art. 44 ff. GDPR, in particular through the use of standard contractual clauses.
